First Law of Success : How To Be Successful

Today I was reminded of a very big lesson in gaining success, in fact I would call it the number one lesson or law of success and becoming successful. Whether you want to reach success in your career, sport, dating or reach your goals, this law or lesson would be relevant to all of that.

For those of you following the story of how I’m helping my friend make some money online and get off welfare – she was successful in reaching our first goal which was to earn 4 bucks in the first 24 hours.

She was successful because she followed the number one lesson or law of success, according to me, which is follow through. Throughout my career in sales and marketing I was always told “the money is in the follow through” or “the money is in the follow-up”.
So my friend followed through on the instructions I gave her and reached her goal and gained success.

When you are making money online I believe it is important to make realistic goals, follow a clear path toward success and not deviate from it. So many young internet marketers go around and around in circles getting nowhere fast.  Six months later and countless hours poured in to making websites and paying for advertising and no a penny made.

Yet here is my friend doing something so simple and following through and she made her first 4 bucks (actually $4.92) within her first 24 hours seeking to make money online. Lesson learned.

So ok, it was pretty easy because all she did was sign up for RedGage, invite some friends to join her there, made a few blog posts and called three friends personally to invite them to sign up. But the important thing was..

Follow Through.

Also a very realistic goal, rather than overnight internet success and making $3,000 in 48 hours and all that other hype, with a very simply program provided the all necessary success psychology for my friend to leap toward doing the next step toward making some cash online.

The first lesson of Success is – Follow Through. The money is in the follow through.

Complete the task. Don’t Drop the Ball. Don’t Take Your Eye Off the Ball. And above all else, once you find a path that works - THE GRASS IS NOT GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE. Stick with it and keep following through.

Stick to the activities that make you money online and avoid the ones that don’t. So what makes money online? We’ll I’ll leave that for another post.

How to Make Money Online for Dummies

This blog will end up being a guide on how to make money online for dummies with many of the techniques on how to make money on the net that I have learned and used. I’ll be using the real life demonstration of how I am  helping my friend make some money online while teaching her what I know about making money online.

I hope our story can inspire you, where-ever you are at in your journey to make money online, as well as demonstrate to you that the net is a viable option to build either a business online or make a little pocket change.

My friend is currently on welfare, is a solo mum doing the best she can to make ends meet. I know some of you reading this blog will relate to her story. She has two sons, one is putting himself through University and the other one, well, I’ll let her tell you about him. She has been trying so hard to get ahead and get off welfare and nothing seems to be working for her.

On numerous occasions I have suggested she turn to the net and get online and internet savvy and start making some money online like I am. She has had a mental block about it and written it off.

Last night she was due to come over for a facial and girlie evening when I got a message that the time would better spent showing her how to get up and running online so she can make some money.

So this blog will post our journey into the wide world of internet marketing and online money making schemes.  It’s kinda a ‘how to make money online for dummies’ using some of the techniques i learned about ‘How to Make Money on the Net’.
